I'm a 30 something mom of two boys (Jones and Shoo) who started running to overcome postpartum depression. I've enjoyed it so much that I've started running races (not winning, just running). I ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2008 and now have a goal of running a race in all 50 states. If I can hit a brewpub or brewery as part of the process, all the better.
Shoo calls it an opportunity to pilot your own ship and take out the Clone Troopers.
I still haven't gone out for a run. One whole week of no running! Ack! I'm running tomorrow, even if it's just short and slow. I'm just hoping not to have a cough attack. After all, I've delivered two children...
Looks like he is having fun! Good luck with your run, I found that running with a halls cough drop helped. I didn't start coughing until after the run!
Oh my gosh, I understand the control issues after kids! LOL. Good luck- I hope you make it out for a run, even a short one. Raking leaves + cross-training = multitasking.
(WOW, that's a lot of leaves! We're in a new development so we have one tiny baby tree that shed its leaves. There are so few that I could pick them up with my hands!)

HAHAHA! Oh girl, I hear ya. Delivering two babies makes for sketchy control...good luck with that ;)
Raking leaves always brings back memories (and pain in muscles i forgot i had) -- definitely cross training! Have a great weekend!

Maybe you should wear a diaper on that run, just in case! :)
I've never had kids and know exactly what you mean by the cough comment.
Hope your run goes well.
I love kids and fall. Good luck with that run.
Sounds like fun for all. :)
